Improv isn’t just for adults. Students will work collaboratively to develop and practice speaking, reacting, and quick-thinking skills through the performance of unrehearsed scenes and games. Activities are designed to help students improve self-confidence, learn the art of performing with and for others, and foster appreciation of the personalities and talents of their peers.
This is a 4-week class – October 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd!
Jonathan Monroe has been a teacher in the Maryland school systems for over 10 years. He has also been an improviser in the Baltimore area for 8 years. Jonathan has been directing a monthly school aged driven family friendly show, The Playground, once a month at Highwire Improv.
