Highwire Improv Improviser

Bridie Schellenberg

A parody songwriter and improvisor for the masses and, perhaps more importantly, for her three children. Bridie Schellenberg is a stand up comedian, a sketch comedy writer, emcee, karaoke aficionado, and cheese lover who loves short walks on the beach and speaking in obscure accents. Bridie Schellenberg is a graduate of The Second City Chicago Conservatory Program. She continues to perform with several ensemble groups, including South Sound Improv, Commando In Chief, and Fourmales. She has performed stand up in Baltimore and Chicago areas. Bridie co-hosted The Wham Bam Improv Jam by Extreme Improv. She has guested on various podcasts, including “The Info Dump Files,” “Autistic Artists,” “Confessional Podcast,” and “That Mom Life.” In a former life, Bridie Schellenberg was a successful competitive dance choreographer and former dancer. Though performing comedy is where her heart lies, she also continues to write and create various artworks, including her children’s book “Hope Says Nope,” which she wrote and illustrated. However, her biggest accomplishments will always be giving birth and eating a block of cheese to completion.
