Hello Highwire Community! This month, in addition to our live community meetings, we're trying a short and sweet blog update for folks who can't make the live event or who don't want to watch a longform video! Introduction and a Brief History At Highwire Improv, we're always looking for new and interesting ways to live out our motto of Community First. One challenge we've observed over the past few years is the gap between getting interested in improv (though a workshop or an intro class) and figuring out all of the steps to getting regular stage time. Introducing our Teacher Development Program

A few weeks ago, we announced that Highwire Improv is launching classes early next year. Alongside this, we are also launching a program that will consistently run alongside our classes, which is a teacher development program. We believe high quality instruction is its own skill that needs independent training, and we believe that high quality instruction is absolutely necessary to ensure a safe and enriching classroom environment.
