For far too long, humanity has long suffered without letting drivers on I83 truly understand that they are driving behind a world-class improviser. How can someone take good improv notes and jot down lessons learned during a coaching session without a notebook that clearly says “improv” somewhere on it? HOW WILL SOCIETY SUSTAIN ITSELF UNLESS A HIGHWIRE IMPROV LOGO IS NOT EMBROIDERED ON A HAT?

These quandaries were keeping so many of us up at night, so we’ve put an end to it. Introducing the Highwire Improv Gift Shop, a brand new merchandising store featuring the finest print-on-demand goods. Upon ordering, you will obtain not just wonderful, high-quality merchandise with Highwire graphics custom-crafted by Highwire’s crack team of visionaries and creatives, but will be supporting Highwire’s Community First goals.

Pricing

First and foremost, a bit of transparency about our pricing: we’ve chosen a print-on-demand storefront so that we don’t have to keep valuable inventory around, and possibly run out of on-hand quantities of things. If you order it, it’ll be produced. Each of these items has a production cost—we’ve increased that cost by approximately 20%, and that’s the amount that goes into Highwire’s coffers as support. For clothing items that have different sizes, we’ve normalized the prices of any sizes so that no matter what size you buy, the cost is the same.

We will be adding to our Gift Shop monthly, as we design new merchandise. Month one is September—the leaves are changing, kids are getting back to school, Maryland is experiencing Second Summer, after a week of chilly weather, it’s probably going to be 90º again for two weeks straight. So, we’ll be putting up three items that you can buy, starting today!

Highwire Logo Flat Bill Snapback – $12.99

An actual sewing machine used three different colors of thread to form the Highwire Improv logo, which is bananas to me because I thought embroidery was super duper expensive, but apparently embroidery machines have been invented that do this stuff automatically, so here we are, selling an embroidered hat for $13.

Highwire Logo Metal License Plate Frame – $13.99

This glossy metal license plate frame sports a bold Highwire Improv logo along with a jaunty red dotted design. It’s lightweight and screws easily on top of any license plate. Please don’t speed. And please don’t send us speed camera shots of your Highwire Improv license plate frame as you were speeding. Drive the speed limit.

Highwire Logo Hardcover Journal – $11.99

This is a cool hardcover journal notebook thing with lined perforated pages, so you can easily remove pages without destroying the binding or other pages. It’s 150 pages and it measures 5.75″ by 8″. And it’s perfect for taking notes!

We’re preparing for October’s drop currently, and we’ll announce what it is on the last week of September.
