As part of our continued efforts to expand on-stage opportunities, Highwire Improv announces the formation of The Highwire Repertory. This program will provide performers the opportunity to join a team for a fixed season without the obligations of a long-term commitment.
The initial Repertory season will take place over seven weeks in February and March 2026 on Sundays. All practices and shows will take place from 5-7 p.m. Each team will perform four shows and have three practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn tech, hosting and other show production skills to support the program.
Repertory is open to anyone who has completed one level of training at any improv theater. A committee of Highwire teachers will match the teams from submissions. We may cap the numbers of performers in this initial pilot season. Interested performers can sign up now.
We anticipate starting with an informational meeting in early February with the first practice on Feb. 15. The program will be free to all performers, but performers will not be paid. Highwire will cover the cost of coaches. Shows will be Pay What You Can.
