Formed in 2015, Local Spot performs a monoscene inspired by an audience member’s favorite color. Unlike most other improv formats, their show takes place entirely in one location, at one time, with no edits, jumps, cuts, or other improv trickery. Performers are forced to live with the decisions they’ve made for the entire show without the ability to escape in an edit. Expect a character- and emotion-driven show in which anything can happen, and the improvisers have to deal with it.
